Pact is launching a new community‑based service that supports people with convictions to improve their personal wellbeing and strengthen family relationships.
Responsibilities
- One‑to‑one support will be core to the service, including building trust and undertaking activities and interventions that meet the needs of each individual.
- Deliver group sessions and workshops to support the development of skills and strategies such as communication, resilience, negotiation and assertiveness skills; confident and responsible parenting behaviours and positive coping strategies.
- Work towards service delivery targets and provide information to evidence outcomes achieved.
- Collaborate with other professionals in partnership delivery.
Qualifications
- Motivated to support people to turn their lives around.
- Background in supporting people who have multiple and complex needs.
- Skills to engage sensitively with people about their family lives.
- Experience of family work and understanding the impact of criminality on family relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build important relationships with partner agencies.
