The predicted salary is between 50000 - 60000 £ per year.
As the Head of Regional Operations, you will oversee the development and delivery of Pact’s services across the region. You will act as the strategic lead for key operational functions, ensuring the highest standards of delivery, compliance, and safety. This includes:
- Leading the volunteer strategy and associated processes
- Managing operational performance and reporting standards
- Monitoring safeguarding systems and health & safety protocols
- Overseeing data protection procedures and out-of-hours management provision
- Supporting HR processes, including recruitment
Additionally, you will contribute to Pact’s overall strategy by participating in policy‑focused and operational projects, as well as bids, tenders, and grant applications. You will work closely with the Regional Director, deputising as needed, and representing Pact at external meetings with key stakeholders such as commissioners, prison governors, and government officials.

- Develop and deliver safe, evidence‑based, and cost‑effective services driven by service user involvement and diverse lived experiences.
- Build and nurture effective partnerships to reduce reoffending, strengthen continuity of care, and address health inequalities.
- Support the development of bids, tenders, and funding applications to increase income, contribute to corporate surplus, and achieve sustainable growth.
- Proven experience in operational leadership, preferably in the charity or justice sector.
- Strong strategic and project management skills.
- A track record of managing safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in securing funding through bids, tenders, or grant applications.
