As Family Visit Support and Play Worker you will provide support to families visiting loved ones in the Visitor Centre. Visitor centre services include play and children’s services; and a catering service.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have experience and understanding of working with families in a challenging environment, ideally involving offenders and/or their families. You will also have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a demanding work load. You will have the ability to contribute to planning and development of Pact’s family work and also have knowledge of safeguarding/child protection practice. Furthermore you will have excellent interpersonal/customer service communication skills and ability to build partnerships with a range of agencies.

Rolling 2 week Rota - Daily working pattern: Week 1 – Wednesday 12-4.30 Saturday 11.30-4.30 Sunday 11.30-4.30 Week 2 - 3 days from Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday - 1 x 4.5hrs & 2 x 5hr shifts.
