Responsibilities
Main Mission
Identify, contact, and convince hotel owners or managers in the UK to lease their properties to the company. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding the accommodation portfolio by securing full or partial property leases.
Key Tasks
- Prospecting & Follow-up
- Identify high-potential hotels, independent accommodations, family-run hotels, distressed assets, underperforming properties, or those nearing end-of-life cycle
- Focus on long-term lease opportunities (commercial lease or lease-to-buy)
- Regularly monitor the hotel market, real estate trends, regulatory developments, and industry trends
- Build and maintain a prioritized target list and keep prospecting databases updated
- Communicate directly with owners, property managers, real estate agents, and intermediaries
- Present the company’s vision and build trust-based relationships
- Conduct detailed property analysis (condition, location, legal status, financial performance, value potential)
- Structure and present tailored leasing offers
- Manage the full leasing process until contract signing
- Collaborate closely with legal and operations teams to finalize agreements
- Work with internal teams (legal, finance, technical) to ensure lease completion
- Ensure proper handover of validated deals to operations teams
- Update CRM tools and weekly reports
- Contribute to improving acquisition and leasing processes
Required Skills
- 4–7 years of experience in B2B sales, real estate negotiations, or hotel development
- Knowledge of the UK hotel or commercial real estate market is highly preferred
- Strong business acumen and excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and long sales cycle management skills
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and results-focused mindset
- Proficiency in CRM tools and strong digital literacy
- Fluent French required; professional level English required
