This role provides an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic WPP agency team managing global hospitality activations for a luxury automotive brand in Formula 1.
We’re looking for a driven F1 Partnership Executive to play a lead role in supporting the planning and delivery of all activations, working closely with both the F1 team and our client’s central and regional teams.
Based at our office near Waterloo, the F1 Partnership Executive will work with our account team. This is a client-facing role, with extensive autonomy and opportunity for growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take a proactive role supporting the planning, organisation and delivery of our Client’s F1 activations across the F1 season
- Supporting the team with hospitality ticket orders for Formula One Paddock Club & management of all requests via a central inbox
- Collation and distribution of hospitality tickets
- Acting as a point of contact for F1-related queries from clients, regional teams & customers
- Supporting the team to project manage the production and distribution of all F1-related collateral, including branded stationery and event materials where required
- Coordinating a calendar of F1 assets across the year including booking, invoicing, and shipping logistics
- Supporting with show car management globally including bookings, invoicing, and shipping logistics
- Prepare and reconcile activation project budgets, managing every aspect from client quotation and billing to supplier invoices and payments
- Supporting the team with the running and upkeep of the Guest Management System and distribution of all race communications
- Supporting the team with client and colleague race travel logistics including booking hotels, flights, and transfers when required
- Event support, including sourcing venues and local suppliers for Grand Prix activations and customer events where required
- Prepare, support and deliver insightful post-activation reports
- Work closely with the Clients to quickly achieve ‘trusted adviser’ status
- Onsite support at F1 races where required
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- F1 background / extensive understanding of the sport
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with a strong attention to detail
- Agency-side experience in delivering first-class activations
- First-class organisation and event management skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, whilst delivering high quality work against any deadline
- Confidence and professionalism to engage with Clients at a senior level
- Enthusiasm, energy and a strong desire to learn
- Ability and willingness to travel when required, occasionally at short notice
DESIRED ATTRIBUTES
- Experience or understanding of Automotive Brands, while not essential, would be helpful
- Ability to write and speak a leading foreign language
