We are Prism eLogistics (UK) Ltd a business based in Basingstoke Hampshire, providing automated contract sleeving, 3PL and efulfilment distribution services.

Established in 2020 and part of the Spearpoint Security Group a Singapore based investment group, who have provided major investment for us to expand.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Fulfilment Team Leader to work on our fulfilment side to report direct to the Supervisor of fulfilment.

This is a hands-on role that assists the daily running of the operation to achieve timely processing and despatch of orders.

The role reports to the Fulfilment Supervisor.

As a team leader, an individual is responsible for facilitating the smooth running of the operation and daily achievement of service levels.

This includes the following responsibilities:

  • Complete their own picking and packing tasks and are a point of call for employee queries and issue resolution
  • Review, prioritise, and release orders in a timely manner
  • Communicate with the Fulfilment Supervisor and Client Services team on a daily basis to agree lead times and address any issues to help solve any problems with shipments
  • They support the end-to-end process of stock takes (i.e. organising labour, counts, investigations)
  • Action ad-hoc requests, such as quality checks
  • Fully report any stock losses, damages or concerns to Fulfilment Supervisor. They escalate more complicated issues to the Warehouse Manager as necessary
  • When required, the Team Leader deputises for the Fulfilment Supervisor and completes additional responsibilities such as locking/unlocking the premises
  • Provide a leadership support function to teams and motivate staff to achieve production goals
  • Provide training and coaching of staff when instructed to by the Fulfilment Supervisor
  • Ensure all health and safety measures are adhered to by all team members
  • Maintain high levels of professionalism in all communications with colleagues, clients and site visitors
  • Assist the Fulfilment Supervisor in resolving problems and suggesting areas of potential improvements
  • Ensure high standards of housekeeping in the warehouse to ensure tidiness, safety and productivity
  • Keeping stock safely stored in accessible locations
  • Communicate all updates and progress to line manager to facilitate collaboration and effective planning
  • Conduct any other duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the warehouse operation
