We’re working with a long-established organisation that provides critical technology and data services to the music industry. Their platforms process millions of transactions every year, helping ensure artists, performers and rights holders are paid accurately when music is used around the world.
With around 250 employees and a 40-50 person technology function, they've built a reputation for taking a thoughtful, long-term approach to both technology and people. The business combines the stability of an established organisation with the kind of technical challenges you'd normally expect to find in a much larger technology company.
This role sits within a DevOps team of three, reporting into the DevOps Manager and supporting an AWS-first estate that has been evolving for more than a decade.

The hiring manager started 15 years ago on the internal help desk and has moved through seven or eight roles since. That tells you most of what you need to know about how this place treats people who stick around. Promotion from within is the default when there's scope, and the DevOps team is small enough that no two days look the same.
There's a real modernisation thread running through the work. The business has just moved from long project cycles to a product roadmap model, and tools built for the old way don't all fit the new one. The team is actively reshaping the estate, and you'd have meaningful input into that.
