QA TEST ENGINEER (AUTOMATION TESTING) (remote)

Test Automation Engineer | UI Testing | Playwright | HealthTech | Remote UK Location : Remote (UK only) We\’re hiring a Test Automation Engineer to help accelerate the shift from manual to automated UI testing at a growing HealthTech, working closely with the NHS. It’s a short-term contract where you\’ll make a real impact, designing and delivering robust, Playwright-based test coverage that fits into their CI/CD pipeline. You’ll work closely with the manual QA team, focus on critical user journeys, and hand over a maintainable suite of tests that the in-house team can own going forward. Building out scalable UI automation using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) Translating manual test cases into solid automated coverage Plugging tests into CI/CD (Azure DevOps) Contributing to a culture of quality and automation best practices Strong experience with Playwright in real-world projects Solid grasp of UI test design and test automation strategy CI/CD integration experience (ideally Azure DevOps) Comfortable collaborating with manual testers and upskilling others Bonus points for broader testing exposure (API, performance, cross-browser) The company is fully remote, collaborative, and mission-driven, focused on improving healthcare outcomes through smart technology.
