The Role

You’ll join a newly formed Infrastructure Support function responsible for keeping critical systems running across both on-prem and cloud environments. Reporting into the IT Infrastructure Manager, you’ll act as an escalation point for the Service Desk, resolving second and third-line issues, leading small infrastructure projects, and helping modernise systems as the business continues its digital transformation.

In this hands-on role, you’ll balance BAU support with project delivery, everything from migrating file servers to Azure and SharePoint, to improving automation through PowerShell or Python scripting. You’ll also get exposure to AWS, Linux, and enterprise applications like the company’s warehouse management platform.

What They’re Looking For (Non-Negotiables)

• Strong background in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Intune
• Experience managing Azure environments (including Entra, Logic Apps, and FSLogix)
• Comfortable supporting physical servers and understanding hardware maintenance
• Confident handling backup systems and ensuring data integrity across cloud and on-prem
• Solid network troubleshooting knowledge (Meraki SD-WAN desirable)
• Willing to join a 1-in-3 on-call rotation, included in base salary
• Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills

What You’ll Work With

• Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune, Entra, Logic Apps, FSLogix
• Windows Server 2019+, Linux (basic command-line use)
• AWS services like EC2, S3, Route 53 (basic exposure; training provided)
• SQL databases (ability to query and troubleshoot)
• PowerShell / Python scripting for automation and optimisation
• Commvault / Veeam for backup and recovery
• Meraki SD-WAN for network management

Nice to Haves

• Exposure to automation and scripting for infrastructure tasks
• Awareness of cloud-to-cloud migration projects
• Understanding of hybrid identity and SSO
• Experience collaborating with third-party vendors and application teams
