You’ll work within a collaborative engineering team building modern internal tools and customer-facing applications used across research, diagnostics, and laboratory environments.
The Role
You’ll contribute to the development of modern .NET and Blazor applications that underpin the company’s digital ecosystem. This includes building UI components, improving existing systems, and supporting backend services. The engineering team is actively migrating from .NET 4 to .NET 8, with some legacy components still being modernised. You’ll work closely with senior developers, product managers, and scientific/operational stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable software used throughout the organisation.
Non-Negotiables
- C# and .NET commercial experience
- Full stack appreciation as you’ll be using Blazor but any front-end experience will be ok as long as you’ll be happy using and learning Blazor
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams
Nice to Haves
- Blazor (server or WASM) hands-on experience
- Azure DevOps and Git workflows experience
- Exposure to healthcare/lab environments (NHS, LIMS, digital pathology)
- Understanding of integration patterns or clinical data flows
