Lead Software Engineer | React & Node.js | SaaS House
*Remote First*, Head Office based in Berkshire.
Prism Digital have partnered with a super cool UK/US-based company that creates a suite of SaaS Data Visualisation tools which plug into various applications and cloud/infrastructure environments. Our client essentially provides a Data Visualisation tool akin to DataDog, Prometheus etc. that boasts value adds to its competitors.
This role reports into the Director of Engineering; you\’ll be mentoring a team of four engineers and leading the way in the prototyping of the new cool products, which they\’re forever developing.
This role is slightly more frontend leaning, but they\’re open to seeing profiles who have been more backend focused so long as you’re happy spending most of your time on the front end side of things.Approx60% front end 40% back end split.
Key requirements:
- React
- JavaScript & TypeScript
- Node.js
- Previous experience working for a SaaS product company (ideally smaller-sized)
- Excellent communication skills and a good educational background
- Gravitas to be able to lead a team of four awesome engineers (2 Devs / 2 QAs).
Having a current lead/manager title isn’t essential so long as you have had the experience in leadings teams and have the gravitas to do so. Some of the team you’ll be leading will have been developing or 10yrs+ so you’ll have to command their respect through your coding skills and general experience.
