Our client provides a combination of services (mainly software & applications) to customers in the legal, health & safety, employment law, ISO regulation and cyber security fields. They currently have a Core IT Team of 8 which will grow this year to a team of 13, so there is already a foundation team in place that you will be working with. There is a general standardisation strategy where the company's CRM, ERP and core IT systems are all being unified. In addition to this, the firm’s strategy is to grow via acquisitions, so there will be no shortage of IT projects and programmes associated with the newly purchased firms’ IT infrastructure that will need to be migrated into ‘the mother ship’. So much going on here, and an exciting time to join!
You will work closely with the Systems Architect and other stakeholders on technology integrations, migrating the IT environments of their acquired companies.
Key skills:- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and administration
- Ability to support Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive
- PowerShell scripting and automation
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards related to Microsoft 365
- Migration of IT environments
- Ensure seamless transition of company’s core infrastructure

For success in this role, it is essential that you have a can-do attitude and are happy to get stuck in with the team. As this is a comparatively small team where skills and resources are pooled, you will be expected to ‘muck in’ on occasions with tasks and duties perhaps more junior than you would normally expect. It’s all about having the right attitude to help your peers when they need it and bringing a positive approach.
