We’re hiring Senior and Principal Azure Platform Engineers to join a fast-growing cloud and platform engineering consultancy delivering large-scale enterprise and public sector programmes. This is a hands-on consulting role where you’ll design and build modern Azure platforms, work closely with client engineering teams, and rotate across varied projects. The business is scaling rapidly across Azure, AWS, data & AI, and software engineering, offering a genuine growth phase with scope to influence standards and direction.
The Role
As an Azure Platform Engineer, you will sit at the heart of cloud transformation programmes. Depending on level:
- Senior: you’ll focus on hands-on delivery, building robust Azure platforms and landing zones.

In this role, you will:
- Design and build Azure platform foundations and landing zones.
- Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native delivery.
- Enable application teams to adopt DevOps and cloud-native best practices.
- Work through full consulting lifecycles: discovery, design, build, and handover.
- Engage directly with client stakeholders, running workshops and explaining technical designs.
There is no long-term operations or maintenance work – this is about building platforms properly, then moving on to the next challenge.
Non-Negotiables
- Azure cloud engineering experience in production environments.
- Terraform infrastructure as code (this is essential).
- Strong CI/CD and automation mindset.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and scalable design.
- Comfortable working in client-facing consulting environments.
- Eligibility for UK security clearance (British citizen or ILR, UK resident for the last 5 years).
What You’ll Work With
- Microsoft Azure platform engineering.
- Terraform infrastructure as code.
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).
- Kubernetes platforms (AKS exposure preferred).
- Cloud-native security and networking patterns.
Nice to Haves
- Previous experience in cloud or DevOps consultancies.
- Kubernetes expertise beyond the basics.
- Experience rotating across multiple client projects.
- Enjoyment of mentoring engineers and raising engineering standards.
Why Join / Projects
- Work on high-impact enterprise and public sector cloud programmes.
- Join during a major growth phase, with multiple platform, data, and software hires underway.
- Projects typically run 3–12 months, keeping work varied and technically interesting.
- High engineering bar combined with a collaborative, people-first culture.
- Strong focus on learning through real delivery, workshops, and shared problem-solving.
