This is an opportunity to join a large, complex public sector environment as a Technical Solutions Designer focused on automation, AI and enterprise solution design. You will own the design of technical solutions end-to-end, from initial idea through to high- and low-level design, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365, Power Platform and automation initiatives. This is a design-led role rather than hands-on engineering. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to shape solutions, produce clear design documentation, and guide delivery teams through implementation. You’ll operate across a broad landscape of infrastructure and applications, collaborating with architects, engineers and project teams to introduce scalable, secure and well-governed solutions.

Core Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end solutions across automation, AI and infrastructure
- Produce HLD / LLD documentation for delivery teams and suppliers
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs
- Assess impact on existing systems, infrastructure and standards
- Work with stakeholders to define the right technical approach
- Support technology selection and procurement decisions
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation
- Collaborate with engineers, architects and project teams to progress solutions
- Ensure consistency with architecture, governance and standards

- Designing automation workflows that improve internal operational processes
- Shaping AI and Microsoft 365-based solutions for different departments across the organisation
