Main Duties
- Accompany experienced team members during your initial training period to learn company processes and operational procedures.
- Operate 3.5T vehicles for domestic and international removals.
- Assist with the packing, protection, loading, transportation, and unloading of customers' possessions.
- Handle furniture and household goods safely using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment.
- Provide a professional and courteous service when dealing with customers and colleagues.
- Complete delivery and removals documentation accurately.
- Carry out routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns promptly.
- Follow company Health & Safety procedures and undertake Banksman responsibilities where required.
- Attend training sessions to continually develop knowledge and practical skills.
Skills and Experience Required
- Full UK Category B driving licence.
- Capable of carrying out manual handling tasks on a daily basis.
- Previous experience within removals, delivery driving, logistics, or warehousing is desirable.
- Forklift truck experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, organised, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Flexible approach and willingness to travel when required.
