This role blends internal and client-facing work. Working with the founder, youâll lead marketing for us, shaping our brand, driving visibility, and helping us grow. But just as importantly, youâll lead marketing for our clients â helping them do the same.
Weâre the kind of agency that challenges assumptions, asks the awkward questions, and works with our clients, not around them.
Weâre not building a massive team, just a brilliant one â full of people who care, who show up, and who genuinely want to do good work.
The Role
Youâll lead our growing marketing team and manage all things marketing, internally and externally.

Itâs handsâon. Itâs varied. Itâs about keeping the engine running and moving the work forward.
Youâll report to the MD and work closely with our design, development and operations people.
What Youâll Be Doing
- Own the agencyâs marketing plan, content calendar, and channel activity
- Run campaigns that build our visibility and bring in the right clients
- Plan and manage our content, social, website, partnerships, and PR
- Work with the MD on pitches, outreach and positioning
For Clients
- Lead strategy and delivery across marketing retainers and projects
- Build and run campaigns across content, paid, SEO, email, and social
- Work with designers, devs, and other specialists to bring ideas to life
- Guide and support junior team members and freelancers
- Build trust and add value in every client conversation
What Weâre Looking For
- Have 5+ years marketing experience, ideally some in an agency or similar
- Be able to lead on strategy and delivery
- Know your way around multiple channels and campaign types
- Be happy managing people, reviewing work, and leading conversations
- Write clearly, think commercially, and focus on what matters
- Stay calm under pressure and organised under load
- Care about quality â and be the kind of person who gets stuck in when needed
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Worked with D2C, SaaS or B2B tech brands
- Strong content writing or content planning experience
- Experience with ActivCampaign, GA4, Meta Ads, Google Ads
- Run marketing for an agency or small brand before
Working Style
- Location: Hybrid â youâll need to be within reach of Exeter

- ÂŁ250 to set up your home office (topped up annually)
