The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:
- Identifying, contacting, and convincing hotel owners or managers in the UK to lease their properties to the company.
- Expanding the accommodation portfolio by securing full or partial property leases.
- Identifying high-potential hotels, independent accommodations, family-run hotels, distressed assets, underperforming properties, or those nearing end-of-life cycle.
- Focusing on long-term lease opportunities (commercial lease or lease-to-buy).
- Regularly monitoring the hotel market, real estate trends, regulatory developments, and industry trends.
- Building and maintaining a prioritized target list and keeping prospecting databases updated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed property analysis (condition, location, legal status, financial performance, value potential).
- Collaborating closely with legal and operations teams to finalize agreements.
- Working with internal teams (legal, finance, technical) to ensure lease completion.
- Updating CRM tools and weekly reports.
- Contributing to improving acquisition and leasing processes.
Qualifications:
- 4–7 years of experience in B2B sales, real estate negotiations, or hotel development.
- Knowledge of the UK hotel or commercial real estate market is highly preferred.
- Strong business acumen and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and long sales cycle management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and strong digital literacy.
- Fluent French required; professional level English required.
