We’re PRISM55, a progressive growth marketing agency helping ambitious founders, teams, and brands grow with purpose, and we’re looking for a sharp, experienced Marketing Manager to lead and grow our marketing team.

This role blends internal and client-facing work. Working with the founder, you’ll lead marketing for us, shaping our brand, driving visibility, and helping us grow. But just as importantly, you’ll lead marketing for our clients — helping them do the same.

We’re the kind of agency that challenges assumptions, asks the awkward questions, and works with our clients, not around them.

We’re not building a massive team, just a brilliant one — full of people who care, who show up, and who genuinely want to do good work.

The Role

You’ll lead our growing marketing team and manage all things marketing, internally and externally.

That means:

  • Setting and owning the marketing direction for PRISM55
  • Leading delivery across content, SEO, CRM, paid, social, and beyond
  • Managing a small team and a wider network of freelancers and delivery partners
  • Being a key part of pitches and business development
  • Coaching, briefing, supporting and quality-checking — keeping standards high

It’s hands‑on. It’s varied. It’s about keeping the engine running and moving the work forward.

You’ll report to the MD and work closely with our design, development and operations people.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the agency’s marketing plan, content calendar, and channel activity
  • Run campaigns that build our visibility and bring in the right clients
  • Plan and manage our content, social, website, partnerships, and PR
  • Work with the MD on pitches, outreach and positioning

For Clients

  • Lead strategy and delivery across marketing retainers and projects
  • Build and run campaigns across content, paid, SEO, email, and social
  • Work with designers, devs, and other specialists to bring ideas to life
  • Guide and support junior team members and freelancers
  • Build trust and add value in every client conversation

What We’re Looking For

  • Have 5+ years marketing experience, ideally some in an agency or similar
  • Be able to lead on strategy and delivery
  • Know your way around multiple channels and campaign types
  • Be happy managing people, reviewing work, and leading conversations
  • Write clearly, think commercially, and focus on what matters
  • Stay calm under pressure and organised under load
  • Care about quality — and be the kind of person who gets stuck in when needed

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Worked with D2C, SaaS or B2B tech brands
  • Strong content writing or content planning experience
  • Experience with ActivCampaign, GA4, Meta Ads, Google Ads
  • Run marketing for an agency or small brand before

Working Style

  • Location: Hybrid — you’ll need to be within reach of Exeter
  • Hours: Full‑time 37.5 hours a week.
  • Equipment: Mac, monitor, whatever else you need — all sorted
  • ÂŁ250 to set up your home office (topped up annually)
  • ÂŁ100 for a meal out every 6 months
  • Regular 1:1s, development chats, and proper support to get better
  • Weekly team calls and quarterly meetups
  • Good people, doing great work, without the drama

Salary Range

£40‑50k per annum.
