PriorySchool is looking for an Artist in Residence & Creative Enrichment Leadto develop and coordinate our creative and enrichment programme across theschool.

Thisis an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to bring creativity intoeveryday school life. You will work directly with students, develop newopportunities and help us create an environment where creativity, curiosity andindividual interests are celebrated.

The role will include:

  • Developing and coordinating avaried programme of lunchtime clubs and enrichment activities.
  • Planning and delivering creativeand immersive experiences for students.
  • Developing the use of ourimmersive room.
  • Arranging visiting artists,workshops and performances.
  • Identifying external arts,cultural and community opportunities for our students.
  • Developing creative projects,exhibitions and whole-school events.
  • Supporting the development ofconsistent, creative and engaging displays across the school.
  • Working with staff to encouragecreativity within learning and the wider school day.
  • Identifying activities andopportunities based on students' interests and strengths.
  • Organising resources, riskassessments and practical arrangements for enrichment activities.

Weare looking for someone who is:

  • creative, enthusiastic and full ofideas;
  • passionate about working withyoung people;
  • confident in developing anddelivering creative activities;
  • well organised and able to manageprojects from idea to delivery;
  • able to work with students with awide range of learning and communication needs;
  • collaborative and able to buildpositive relationships with staff and external organisations; and
  • excited by the opportunity todevelop something new.

Experienceof working in a special school or with young people with SEND would bedesirable, but we are particularly interested in your creativity, enthusiasmand ability to engage our students.

Thisis a varied role which combines creative practice, student enrichment andpractical coordination. You will have the opportunity to shape the programmeand make a real contribution to the experience of students at Priory.
