Due to service growth and exciting developments across our Bristol sites, we are seeking ambitious and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrists to join our established multidisciplinary teams across both inpatient and outpatient services at Priory Hospital Bristol (PHB) and Bristol Park Clinic.

These are highly attractive roles offering excellent medical support, manageable patient numbers, strong multidisciplinary working, and competitive salary.

Current opportunities include:

  • Rehabilitation and Recovery Consultant Psychiatrist
    22.5 hours per week £170,000 FTE per annum
    14-bed Rehabilitation & Recovery ward
    Supported by a 0.5 FTE Speciality Doctor
    Opportunity to work within a well-established therapeutic environment focused on recovery-oriented care
  • Private Addictions Consultant Psychiatrist
    30 hours per week £176,000 FTE per annum
    11-bed Female Acute ward
    Full-time Speciality Doctor support
  • Consultant Psychiatrist / Medical Director – Female Acute
    Full-time 5 days per week, £176,000 per annum plus a competitive stipend is offered in recognition of the Medical Director's responsibilities.
    Dual clinical and leadership role across our Private Addictions Ward
    One remote working day available (Tuesday or Wednesday)
    Additional Medical Director stipend provided in recognition of leadership responsibilities

What you'll bring to the role:

We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with strong clinical expertise and proven leadership capability. You will have:

  • CCT (or equivalent) and inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register
  • Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician status
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience at Consultant level (for MD roles)
