Description
Priory Lichfield Road (Lichfield Road) – Department: Nursing – Compensation: £12.71 / hour.
This is a bank role with flexibility.
Shifts are days (7:30 am‑8:00 pm) and nights (7:30 pm‑8:00 am).
The facility specialises in rehabilitation and complex mental health needs, located in Bloxwich, Walsall, with excellent public transport links.
- What you’ll be doing
- Assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans and undertake routine tasks and activities to facilitate the wellbeing, dignity and treatment of all patients.
- Provide practical support and responsive care to patients requiring assistance with intimate personal needs such as dressing, bathing and toileting, ensuring compliance with procedures and healthcare legislation.
- Observe and monitor the wellbeing of patients, and promptly refer any unusual physical, mental or emotional occurrences to senior staff or the primary nurse, documenting as appropriate.

Essential for the role
Educated to a minimum of NVQ Level 1 or GCSE standard in Mathematics and English, with a good understanding of the importance of maintaining strict confidentiality.
