We are looking for a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner at South West - South Peninsula. This role will cover Devon and Somerset, so travel to sites will be required across the region. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week.

- As a PBS Practitioner, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

- Must be empathetic, resilient, and purpose-driven to improve lives.
- Role involves working closely with individuals receiving personalised support in tailored settings.
- Collaborate with the hospital’s Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).
What you'll bring to the role

- The ideal candidate will hold a formal qualification in Positive Behaviour Support or a related field, with experience conducting behavioural assessments and developing effective interventions for individuals with challenging behaviours.
- They will have a background in supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism, a solid understanding of relevant legal frameworks, and the ability to work in demanding situations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and report-writing skills are essential, along with experience delivering PBS training and reducing restrictive practices.
- A full driver’s license and access to a vehicle for business use are also required.
