What you'll be doing:
- Support the Lead Occupational Therapist in delivering high-quality patient care and treatment plans.
- Assess patient needs, provide appropriate therapy interventions, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Supervise and support junior staff and students while working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, policies, and health and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, carers, and colleagues, provide occupational therapy guidance and support, and assist with workload management and service development.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Essential: Diploma in Occupational Therapy. Degree, Honours Degree or Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy and accreditation by the HCPC. Be a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
- Desirable: Prior experience working within an Occupational Therapy setting as a qualified member of staff.
