Priory Hospital Kneesworth House, Royston, Hertfordshire is a level 2 rehabilitation service providing a range of specialist recovery pathways for adults within a purpose‑built facility. It is accessible by public transport, with Royston railway station approximately 2–3 miles from the service and limited local bus links. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.

What you'll be doing

  • Play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.
  • Be on-call cover between 09:00–17:00.
  • Work alongside Consultant Psychiatrists to deliver inpatient psychiatric care across wards.
  • Assess and medically clerk new admissions.
  • Complete psychiatric, risk, and physical health assessments.
  • Arrange and interpret admission investigations and health screenings.
  • Carry out medicines reconciliation in line with local policies.
  • Prescribe and review psychiatric and physical health medications.
  • Liaise with GPs, hospitals, specialists, and community teams to support patient care.
