Description Kneesworth HospitalSalary is £31,249-£38,040 depending on experience Full-time, fixed-term, 37.5 hours per weekKneesworth Hospital are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team. This is a 12-month fixed-term role.Priory Hospital Kneesworth House, Royston, Hertfordshire is a level 2 rehabilitation service providing a range of specialist recovery pathways for adults within a purpose-built facility. It is accessible by public transport, with Royston railway station approximately 2–3 miles from the service and limited local bus links. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.What you'll be doingIn this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care. Develop and deliver personalised occupational therapy treatment plans to support patient recovery and wellbeing. Assess patient needs, deliver individual and group therapy, and maintain accurate clinical records. Support, supervise and mentor junior members of the occupational therapy team. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards of care and compliance. Promote occupational therapy services and contribute to the development of the local service. Build strong relationships with patients, families and carers, ensuring effective communication throughout rehabilitation.
