Levitt Mill & Barn is looking to recruit a Female Nights Support Worker to join the team.
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Hours: Full-Time, 30-40 hours per week
Shifts: 10 PM - 8 AM, Weekend work will be included
Levitt Mill and Barn is located on the outskirts of the small town of Maltby, close to Rotherham. It offers residential support for 11 people, who have a learning disability and/or are autistic. Our team is dedicated to supporting the people we care for to live as independently as possible by developing their daily living and social skills in a safe and homely environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Be part of a compassionate team committed to our residents' wellbeing.
- Assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans.
- Undertake routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents.
- Support with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and personal care.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bedclothes.
- Assist with safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of individuals.
- Provide assistance and support to attend medical appointments.
- Observe, monitor, and record physical and emotional well-being, and quickly report any changes to senior staff.
- Encourage participation in social and recreational activities.
