We currently have a vacancy for a Clinical Psychologist to work as part of our established multi-disciplinary therapy team that provides psychological treatment and support to inpatients and outpatients. The candidate will also be skilled and motivated in the facilitation of group therapy interventions.

The successful candidate will join a thriving therapy service that is committed to evidence-based practice, supervision, and providing professional development opportunities. The post holder will be an integral member of an established multi-disciplinary team to contribute to clinical meetings and care planning for service users.

Applicants will be registered with the HCPC, will have a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, and will be expected to bring the psychology leadership, clinical, and consultation skills necessary to offer an outstanding psychology service to their service users and multi-disciplinary teams.

The post holder's responsibilities will include:

  • Working within the standards set out by CQC, QNIC, and other regulators
  • Providing excellent standards of evidence-based practice
  • Regularly reviewing and monitoring outcomes of assessments and the effects of treatment in line with goal-based outcomes
  • Active participation in service developments including the use of service user feedback and in-house training
  • Contributing to the development of care pathways and other treatment protocols
  • To provide specialist supervision, training, and consultation to colleagues through formulation groups and reflective practice
