We are looking to employ Principal Psychologist on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is an exciting role which provides psychological assessment and treatment on our Eating Disorder Unit, Lotus. The successful candidate will also contribute to the provision and development of the psychology service within the hospital.

Job responsibilities:

  • To provide specialist psychological assessment and intervention to patients attending the service.
  • To provide specialist advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to client's formulation, diagnosis and treatment plan.
  • To exercise autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment, treatment and discharge of clients whose difficulties are managed by psychologically based standard care plans.
  • Co-ordinate the delivery of psychological assessment and intervention from other psychology staff.
  • To hold management, clinical and professional supervision of psychology staff across site.

  • Essential HCPC registration
