Our Harley Street Clinic is looking to recruit a further Visiting Consultant Psychiatrist – Outpatient Adult General Psychiatry to join the team. The role of a Visiting Consultant offers you the opportunity to build a private outpatient practice in partnership with Priory, supported by our established clinical infrastructure, national marketing reach, and steady patient referral network. This is a self‑employed opportunity. Located right in the heart of London’s prestigious medical district, Priory Wellbeing Centre Harley Street is one of the UK’s leading mental health clinics. We provide fast access to expert mental health support for a range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, stress, ADHD, addictions and eating disorders. In addition, we offer private autism assessments for adults and children.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat a diverse mix of inpatient and outpatient population.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, healthcare assistants and dietician.
  • Engage in quality improvement and governance activities.

What you’ll bring to the role

Candidate Profile

  • GMC registration with relevant specialist registration.
  • Experience in eating disorders including at least 2 years operating within a substantive role with the NHS.
  • A strong understanding of Clinical Governance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Successful completion of a DBS check (funded by Priory).
