Located in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, Priory Hospital Lincolnshire is a low secure unit for males with mental health conditions. It offers support to those who are detained under the Mental Health Act (MHA).] While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Deliver meaningful 1:1 and group activities to enhance patient’s wellbeing, independence, community participation and quality of life in line with prescribed care plans (including OT care plans) and risk assessment Undertake risk assessment of activities in discussion with senior colleagues and line manager. Activities should support cognitive, physical, and emotional needs, align with patients individualised recovery goals and focus on meaningful leisure, recreational and social activities. GCSEs (A–C) or equivalent/NVQ Level 2 Full UK driving licence (essential to drive the hospital vehicle). Planning and delivering meaningful recreational or therapeutic activities. Confidence organising community-based activities and social events.
