Priory Beacon House is a Residential Addiction service in Melton. It is home to Flourish β our pioneering therapy-led addiction programme β offering bespoke treatment for a wide range of addictions in a calm, homely environment. Set within a supportive community, Beacon House provides a safe haven away from the stresses of daily life, forming part of our wider network of residential addiction treatment homes across the UK.
Delivered by qualified therapists in a non-medical setting, Flourish offers an alternative to traditional hospital-based treatment. Itβs ideal for people who donβt need a medical detox or ongoing medical care but would benefit from structured therapy, community connection, and practical tools to achieve meaningful, sustainable recovery.
The role will be responsible for supporting the Service Manager with responsibility for key areas of service provision and in their absence being responsible for the overall service, including providing, managing and coordinating support for clients. Ensure managerial tasks are completed in the absence of the Service Manager, deputising for them in their absence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to, or being responsible for key elements of the admissions (ATP) assessment, including the planning and implementation of support available post assessment within the site for people who are due to be admitted.
- Supporting the Therapy Team with planning admissions and discharges.
- Responsible for the proper maintenance and updates of all reports and records via Nourish and holding accountability for updating Regulatory folders.
- Ensuring compliance with good practice guidelines and legislative, statutory and organisational requirements, including but not limited to health and safety, personnel data, care plans, staff supervisions.
- Contributing to the preparation, implementation, embedding and sustaining of governance processes.
The successful candidate will have experience working within residential addiction or substance misuse services, with a strong understanding of recovery-focused care, relapse prevention, and the management of complex needs, including mental health comorbidities. They will demonstrate the ability to support the Service Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, lead shifts confidently, and provide effective supervision and guidance to staff.
A good working knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, health and safety, and clinical governance is essential, along with the ability to maintain accurate records and support audits and inspections. The role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, a calm and compassionate approach, and the ability to manage challenging situations professionally. The ideal candidate will be resilient, values-driven, and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred, recovery-led care within a residential setting.
