£Priory Hospital Kemple View has an opportunity for a HCPC registered principal psychologist to join our team.

Priory Hospital Kemple View, Blackburn, Lancashire is a 90-bedded hospital providing level 2 rehabilitation and secure services for adult males with mental health conditions and/or personality disorders.

It is accessible by public transport, with a local train station approximately a 3-minute drive away.

Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.

As a Principal Psychologist, you'll play a key role in delivering and developing the psychology service within the hospital/unit.

You'll provide high-quality psychological input that is responsive to the individual needs, risks and presentations of patients, working as part of the wider multidisciplinary team.

Leading the psychology provision for a designated ward or group of patients, as agreed with the Head of Psychology.

The successful candidate will possess a confident grasp of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and at least two additional therapeutic modalities, including one with specific relevance to interventions used for local or equivalent disorders.

You will demonstrate a strong understanding and application of therapeutic principles, with a willingness to undertake further training where required.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working with complex clients and delivering high-level interventions tailored to their needs, alongside formal training in clinical supervision.
