Description Ravenlea is a residential service in Folkestone, Kent.
We support six males and females who have a learning disability or are autistic.
We are set on a residential street, near the town centre.
Our team are dedicated to providing the right level of support to allow the people we care for to live a more fulfilling and independent future.
We provide a homely setting, with person-centred touches throughout so our residents can reach their full potential and live their best life.
We are looking for someone who holds a valid driving licence, as the role requires driving our site vehicles (both manual and automatic) to transport our residents on outings and appointments when needed.
What you'll be doing We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team.
In this rewarding role, you will provide the highest standard of person-centred support and care, enabling the people who use our service to live with dignity, independence, and choice.
Support workers are key workers, and provide direct support to our service users in support them to live there best lives.
Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key.

Key Responsibilities Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks.
Encourage and assist participation in activities and community life.
Support service users in achieving their personal outcomes in the way they choose.
Maintain accurate records, care plans, charts, and daily notes.
Build positive relationships with service users, families, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Uphold safety, security, and confidentiality in line with policies and regulations.
Act as a key worker for individuals, helping them to set goals and track progress.
Promote choice, independence, and involvement at all times.
Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing ideas and suggestions.
