Priory Hospital Burgess Hill has an opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team.
Priory Hospital Burgess Hill, Goddards Green, West Sussex is an acute and psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) service for adult males. The hospital is close to the A23, providing road access to Brighton, Gatwick and the M25. Due to the rural location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.
What you'll be doing
As part of the role you will be:
- Supporting qualified staff with patient care plans and day-to-day care.
- Providing practical and personal care, including bathing, dressing and toileting, while maintaining dignity and respect.
- Monitoring patients' physical, mental and emotional wellbeing and reporting any concerns to senior staff.
- Supporting patients to maintain their wellbeing and receive safe, person-centred care.
What you'll bring to the role
As part of your probation period, you may be required to complete the Care Certificate, even if you've previously achieved it.
