Our Central Division plays a vital role in ensuring that our operational and administrative functions are delivered efficiently, enabling us to maintain the highest standards of care across our organisation.

Priory is looking to recruit a Head of Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act Operations to join the Central Quality team. This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week.

Location of the role: Remote working with a requirement to travel to sites and corporate offices as necessary.

What you'll be doing

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the organisation is compliant with its obligations under the relevant Mental Health or Mental Capacity legislation across all 4 UK nations. They will be responsible for ensuring that robust and effective process and systems are embedded within operational practice which are monitored for efficacy and compliance with expected legal standards.

What you'll bring to the role

  • The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Work within a Health or Social Care Provider in a senior role related to MHA or MCA/DoLS.
  • Provided expert advice and support to a large national organisation.
  • Created and presented reports to executive level committees.
  • Lead on organisational change programmes.
  • Delivered specialist training.
