13.95 per hour Full Time, 42 hours Priory Old Vicarage has an opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to join our team. It offers residential support for seven adult males and females with a range of needs. This includes adults with a learning disability, individuals with mental health needs, and people on the autism spectrum. We can also support those who have: Difficulties with communication We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will act as a positive role model, providing effective supervision and guidance to support staff, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered at all times. You will play a key role in supervising day-to-day operations, coaching colleagues, leading team meetings, and ensuring the people who use our service are supported to live fulfilling, independent lives. Supervise and support the delivery of person-centred support and care Provide leadership during shifts, including handovers, role allocation, and effective communication. Ensure residents have person-centred plans in place and are supported to participate in meaningful activities. Deliver team supervisions and contribute to professional development. Manage service users’ finances and contribute to budget management in accordance with policy. Monitor and support team performance, addressing immediate operational issues as needed. Previous experience as a Support Worker or Senior Support Worker is essential. Committed to promoting choice, dignity, and independence for those we support.
