Priory Old Vicarage offers residential support for seven adult males and females with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, mental health needs, autistic spectrum, complex needs, communication difficulties and mild to moderate challenging behaviours or epilepsy.
What you’ll be doing
- Act as a positive role model, supervise and guide support staff, deliver high‑quality person‑centred care, supervise operations, coach colleagues, lead team meetings, support residents to live independent lives.
- Supervise and support delivery of person‑centred support and care.
- Provide leadership during shifts, including handovers, role allocation and effective communication.
- Ensure residents have person‑centred plans and are supported to participate in meaningful activities.
- Deliver team supervisions and contribute to professional development.
- Administer medication safely in line with procedures.
- Manage service users’ finances and contribute to budget management.
- Maintain accurate record‑keeping, reporting, and compliance with legislation.
- Monitor and support team performance, addressing operational issues as needed.
- Maintain up‑to‑date training and knowledge for safe practice.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Previous experience as a Support Worker or Senior Support Worker.
