Description
Full‑time role of 37.5 hours a week. £43,014‑£46,314 dependent on experience. At least 18 months – 2 years’ experience post‑registration. This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses. You will be working on the Private Ward. We offer mental health support for adults and young people, including access to specialist therapy and psychiatry. We also provide private autism assessments for adults. Our brand new hospital conversion allows access to high‑quality, modern facilities within a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere, close to relaxing woodland. Each ward has access to south‑facing garden areas. Priory Barnt Green Hospital B45 8ER is not easily accessible via public transport; commuting by car or private transport is likely the most practical option.
What you’ll be doing
- You will be part of a compassionate team committed to patient wellbeing.
- You will assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertake routine tasks and activities, and facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
- You will work as a Senior Nurse in the Private Ward, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and visitors.
- You will apply relevant policies, statutory requirements and governance, communicate requirements to the team, assess and manage risk, and promote diversity and inclusion.
What you’ll bring to the role
Essential- Hold current professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), Mental Health
- At least 18 months – 2 years’ experience post‑registration
- A background in mental health, particularly within a private ward setting, with experience managing complex clinical environments, resilience and proactive safe, high‑quality care in fast‑paced settings.
