Priory Hospital Solihull are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the team on a part-time basis, managing an in-patient caseload on Arley Ward across 18.75 hours per week. This role is flexible and can work around school hours or other commitments.
The main responsibility of the job is in the role of Responsible Clinician for up to ten in-patients on Arley Ward and in provision of clinical leadership to the team on the ward. A successful candidate would also be expected to undertake assessments of new referrals and may bring their own additional clinical skills to the role.
Working hours are typically 2.5 days per week on site; however, how this is structured can be discussed at the interview and we are able to consider flexible working hours.
There is a strong governance structure within the hospital and region, and the successful applicant will be expected to take an active role in service and quality development activities and to participate in governance meetings and R&R Service Line meetings, as necessary.
Priory Hospital Solihull operates a non-residential medical on-call rota with other sites and the post holder is expected to participate on the on-call rota.
