Priory Wellbeing Centre, Manchester is looking to recruit a Visiting Consultant Psychiatrist – CAMHS to join the team. This is a self-employed opportunity to partner with Priory as an independent Consultant, fully supported through the Priory approach and suitable both for those new to independent private practice, and also those that may be looking to expand their existing private client base.
Priory Wellbeing Centre Manchester offers fast access to exceptional outpatient care for a wide range of mental health conditions. We can provide counselling and treatment for depression, anxiety and stress, as well as a dedicated young people’s service, all set within a peaceful, yet convenient location. We can also offer private autism assessments for adults and children, as well as an autism psychological support pathway for adults who have been diagnosed with autism.
What you'll be doing:
- You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing.
- Taking clinical responsibility for patients, including multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk reviews, strategic reviews and the development of a therapeutic milieu.
- Offering a psychiatric perspective to the multidisciplinary team in relation to the assessment, formulation and treatment of Children and Young People.
What you'll bring to the role:

- The consultant must hold a CCST/CCT (or equivalent) in Psychiatry with experience in inpatient settings supporting individuals with significant mental health difficulties.
