Position: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) – Eating Disorder Unit

Department: Nursing

Location: Cheadle Royal

Compensation: £36,296 – £38,716 per year

What you’ll be doing:

  • Deliver high‑quality nursing care within an agreed framework by assessing, planning, implementing and reviewing care in partnership with patients and their families while acting as the named nurse.
  • Monitor patient progress, respond to changes in condition and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to care.
  • Prioritise and delegate duties effectively, including acting as nurse in charge when required, to maintain a safe environment.
  • Build positive relationships with patients, relatives, colleagues and visitors, responding professionally to enquiries, suggestions and complaints.
  • Support newly qualified staff as a preceptor, participate in clinical supervision and reflective practice and maintain ongoing professional development in line with preceptorship and revalidation requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies, the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, Medicines Management policies, Priory Group policies and the NMC Code at all times.
  • You will join the team on the Eating Disorder Unit, where you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect and high standards of care.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with 6‑12 months post‑registration experience and active NMC registration.
  • Experience in Eating Disorder is essential.
