CBT/Integrative Therapist

Overview

Priory Hospital Chelmsford is seeking a CBT/Integrative Therapist to join our team, working with adult day patients by delivering both individual and group therapy sessions. We welcome candidates for full-time or part-time roles, with availability to cover Saturday mornings (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM) as part of the schedule.

What you\’ll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team committed to our patients\’ wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Therapist you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions using CBT and integrative therapeutic approaches tailored to patient needs.
• Assess and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the multidisciplinary team.
• Support patients with a range of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and personality disorders.
• Monitor patient progress using outcome measures and adjust interventions to maximize recovery.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to ongoing professional development and training.

What you’ll bring to the role

Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows. We are currently seeking a qualified CBT or Integrative Therapist to join our dedicated and supportive team. Candidates should hold a recognized qualification in CBT theory and practice, along with BABCP or BACP membership and accreditation. Experience working within a multidisciplinary team in acute mental health services is desirable.
