Compensation: £36,176 - £38,596 per year

Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week, fully rotational days and nights

Full‑time mental health nurse position on the Private ward with 6–12 months post‑registration experience. This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses. Priory Hospital Barnt Green offers acute mental health and psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) services for 23 males and females. Excellent transport links available: local bus and train station, and a 10‑minute drive to the M5 and M42 motorways.

Responsibilities

  • Work on the Private unit supporting patient recovery, assessment, and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.

Qualifications

  • Hold current professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in Mental Health.
  • Knowledge of NMC guidelines, requests, and professional practices.
  • Evidence of post‑registration continuing professional development.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality.
