A very exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Front of House team. We are looking for a superstar Front of House Assistant who thrives on providing excellent customer experience to become part of our team at our beautiful, luxury, boutique Country House Hotel and Restaurant. We have high standards and are looking for someone willing and ready to rise to that challenge.
About Us: The Priory Hotel is a luxury hotel that is your home away from home. Guests come to unwind, relax and enjoy excellent cuisine in our Garden Room Restaurant. We are based on the gateway to the picturesque Isle of Purbeck and much desired Jurassic Coast in the beautiful market town of Wareham, Dorset. Set in 4 acres of beautifully tended gardens, we have 17 individually furnished rooms. We are proud members of the Pride of Britain collection of Hotels.

Role And Responsibilities
As a Assistant Front of House, you will play a pivotal role in our Front of House Team. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Providing excellent standards of customer experience and hospitality to our customers.
- As the first person our customers will meet, you must represent our hotel and brand to exacting standards.
- Familiarise yourself with the hotel, its rooms, restaurant, food, and surrounding area to be able to answer guest questions confidently
- Understand and manage the guest reservation process for Rooms and Restaurant.
- Bar duties (depending on age)
- Serving Afternoon Tea, Morning Coffee, and Drinks depending on the shift
- Breakfast Service
- Respond to email and phone inquiries
- Guest check-in and check out
- Ability to progress to Junior Supervisor, and to Duty Manager.
The role includes evenings and weekends. Experience of Guestline, Resdiary and Newbridge a plus but full training will be given.
