The role of the Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) Staff Nurse is to work as an effective member of the multi‑disciplinary team, promoting the best interests of clients and carers, ensuring prescribed nursing care is effectively implemented, maintaining a safe care environment, and exercising professional accountability and responsibility using professional skills, knowledge and expertise in changing environments and within the scope of professional practice.
Qualifications
- Hold current professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) with at least 1 year post‑qualification experience.
- This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses.
Background check required: successful disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), Access NI or Disclosure Scotland; Priory will cover the cost of the DBS check.
