The predicted salary is between 1200 - 1800 £ per month.
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients' wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities
- Organise, monitor and prioritise your own caseload, under the guidance of your supervisor, balancing training requirements and organisational need.
- Construct psychological formulations for service user difficulties and develop individualised intervention and management plans accordingly; recommending and providing psychological therapy as required.
- Conduct psychological assessments (including risk assessments) with service users using appropriate methods, ranging from interview techniques, psychometric tests, behavioural observation and consultation with staff and service users' families.
- Contribute to the development of group work programmes in accordance with the Psychology group work programme. Deliver programmes to a high standard and maintain treatment integrity as required.

Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, it is essential that you have completed a BPS-accredited undergraduate psychology program and obtained a degree with at least an upper second classification. Additionally, you should have completed any required postgraduate qualifications identified by your professional body, the British Psychological Society (BPS), as prerequisites for progressing towards your training role. Finally, you will need to enrol in the appropriate training program to continue your professional development.
