Priory Combs Court is looking to recruit a Waking Nights - Support Worker to join our team. This is a full time position, 37.5 hours a week, from 8pm to 8:30am on a 2 week rolling rota.

Main duties of the job:
- Assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans.
- Undertake routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of our residents and tenants.
- Provide support with day-to-day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living.
- Support with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and personal care.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed clothes.
- Assist with safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of individuals.
- Provide assistance and support to attend medical appointments.
- Observe, monitor, and record physical and emotional well-being, and quickly report any changes to senior staff.
- Support the development of important family connections and liaise with specialists, including Speech & Language Therapists and Learning Disability teams.
- Encourage participation in social and recreational activities that promote involvement and personal growth.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and resilience.

- Competent in verbal and written English.
- A social care qualification is desirable, but not essential.
