Located in London, in a peaceful and secluded part of Southgate, Priory Hospital North London is set within a striking Grade I listed building, overlooking beautiful parklands. It's one of the UK's leading centres for the treatment of a range of mental health difficulties, including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).
Main duties of the job:
- You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients' wellbeing.
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the therapy team within Private Pathways, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based psychological therapies.
- Hold a reduced caseload while supporting complex assessments, treatment planning, and risk management for patients with diverse mental health needs.
- Supervise, mentor, and support therapists, promoting professional development, reflective practice, and adherence to clinical standards.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to care planning, outcome monitoring, and service development.
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance, Priory policies, and regulatory standards, supporting continuous improvement and service excellence.

Job responsibilities:
Priory Hospital North London is looking to recruit a Therapy Lead to join the team. This is a full-time 37.5-hour role a week.
Person Specification Requirements:
- The successful candidate will be a qualified and accredited therapist (e.g. HCPC, BABCP, BACP) with significant post-qualification experience working with complex mental health presentations.
- You will have previous experience in a senior or supervisory role, demonstrating strong clinical leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support and develop a therapy team.
- Experience working within private healthcare or specialist services is desirable, alongside a sound understanding of clinical governance, safeguarding, and outcome-focused care.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
