As an independent hospital manager, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or hold a relevant health or social care professional registration, with a postgraduate qualification being desirable. Previous experience working within the social work, Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP), or legal sectors, or having a particular interest or experience in mental health services, is considered a benefit.

Priory Hospital Dewsbury is looking to recruit an independent hospital manager to join the team in our 32 bedded locked service. This is a sessional role. Based in the residential area of Earlsheaton, West Yorkshire, Priory Hospital Dewsbury provides level 2 rehabilitation services divided into two wards. Care is for male patients who have mental health disorders and we also offer neuropsychiatry support, support for older people and dementia, community-focused rehabilitation, and support for severe and enduring mental health.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
