Priory Hospital Woking is a mental health and addiction rehab hospital, offering world class inpatient and outpatient treatment. We can treat a variety of addictions and mental health conditions, including alcohol and drug recovery services, and treatment for depression. We can also offer private autism assessments for adults, as well as an autism psychological support pathway for adults who have been diagnosed with autism. We are located just outside the town centre and is approximately a 10-15 minute drive from the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive assessments and develop collaborative, person-centred treatment plans.
  • Provide one-to-one CBT sessions in line with clinical guidelines and best practice.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records and documentation.
  • Monitor client progress using validated outcome measures and adapt treatment where appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure high-quality care.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision, continuing professional development, and team meetings.
  • Manage a caseload effectively while meeting service targets and maintaining high standards of care.

Requirements

Applicants should be a qualified CBT Therapist with BABCP-approved postgraduate training (Level 1 or Level 2) and BABCP accreditation. Applicants who are not yet accredited must be registered with BABCP, actively working towards accreditation, and able to submit their application within 12 months. Candidates should also have post-qualification experience delivering CBT within mental health settings, including inpatient and/or outpatient services.

  • Experience delivering CBT to individuals with a range of common mental health disorders, including anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, PTSD, and panic disorder.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
  • Experience delivering CBT in a variety of formats, including face-to-face, remote, and group interventions.
  • Experience conducting comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, and developing evidence-based formulations and treatment plans.
  • Experience using routine outcome measures to monitor treatment progress and clinical outcomes.
  • Experience working with clients presenting with complex needs or comorbid mental and physical health conditions.
  • Experience contributing to service development, clinical audit, quality improvement initiatives, or supervision of trainees and junior staff.

Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
